Kyle Morland. Falsework, 2011. Site Specific installation. Dimensions in direct relation to the venue volume.
A site-specific spatial intervention by Kyle Morland featuring a temporary structure poised within the back gallery space. Playing on a sense of form and scale, Falsework II (2011) borrows an aesthetic of supporting structures in order to hold components in place until its construction is sufficiently advanced to support itself. The function of its original form, now changed through scale and placement.
