For
the Cape Town exhibition, this title becomes a theme for their
individual works which somehow opens a dialogue between them:
Gasser
will show a new animation using Table Mountain as the protagonist as
well as a digital print consisting of an assemblage of drawings and
newspaper clippings collected during the past months in South Africa.
Tremblay
will show pencil drawings in which he has implemented the computer as
a tool in the creative process, utilising found footage, photographs
(for example a portrait of Helen Martin). The results are
ethereal, delicate and poetic pictures.
