Interested in working with absurd human situations, Geering and Dunkel explore the borders between the performed and the private through self-examination and humor: Urban-Suburban-Rural Tourist records their own disorientated movements as European tourists in SA.

Anna Geering and Jo Dunkel are based in Basel and work primarily in performance and video. They have been working in Johannesburg, Cape Town and surrounds for the last four months and are currently in residence at Greatmore Artists' Studios in Woodstock.
